500 Billion SHIB Purchased by Ethereum Whales in a Week
It's been more than a week since SHIB started trending.
Tokenized Ethereum has been attracting Ethereum's most prominent whales and has risen to be one of the top ten most acquired ETH tokens, the most highly-held ETH token, and the largest token by dollar value.
Bitcoin buyer ETH "Bombur" purchased 51,791,288 SHIB on April 25, over 52 billion of the crypto token.
Bombur paid $1,178,967 for the SHIB – over $2 million. According to WhaleStats, there are presently 16 bitcoin whales in existence.
SHIB has already risen to the top of the list of the top 2,000 ETH whales' holdings only a few hours before this acquisition.
The whales had SHIB valued at more than $1.3 billion, while FTX was in the second position.
More than $1.1 billion was invested in the FTX whales. BEST, which has nearly $380 million, is in a distant third position.
SHIB stands to benefit greatly from all of these developments.
There is a correlation between the number of tokens in circulation and the stability of the token price.
It also demonstrates the SHIB Army's devotion to and faith in the symbol.
Additional initiatives, such as creating Shiba Inu Metaverse Lands, might be funded by this money.
Also, in April, BlueWhale0073, the fifth-largest ETH Whale, purchased a total of 420 billion SHIB worth $10 million in the third week of the month.
At this boom, SHIB was listed as one of the top 10 most popular ETH tokens.
There are still a lot of SHIB in circulation, notwithstanding the whales' enormous purchases.
Since the total circulating quantity of SHIB is astonishing at 549 trillion units, the 500 billion units represent just 0.09 percent of the total.
