A bricklayer had two sons.

Every day, he woke 4:30am to mix cement. His sons laughed at him.

"Papa, na only block you dey lay since 1990, you never build mansion."

He smiled.

When first son finished university, he had no job. Second son too.

One day bricklayer fell sick. He called his sons.

"Break the backyard floor."

They broke it. Under it were 3 boxes full of money - all the small small money from laying block for 30 years.

He used it to buy them two plots of land in Ibeju-Lekki and still had money left to build.

He said, "You laughed at small work. But small work done everyday becomes big work. You wanted big work in one day, that's why you have nothing."

First son cried. He had been waiting for big oil company job for 2 years, refusing small 80k job.

He learned.

He took the 80k job. Started saving small small like his father.

3 years later, he built his own small house.

*Moral:* E no dey too small. E7018 report wey you dey write tonight wey you think say na small thing? Do am well. Do am everyday.

Your father laying block, you writing report - same principle. Small becomes big.
