Most people don’t actually struggle with maths because it’s “hard.”
They struggle because it was explained poorly the first time.
As an up-and-coming maths tutor, I see this all the time—students getting stuck on things like addition or subtraction, not because they can’t do it, but because they don’t fully understand what the numbers actually represent. Once that foundation clicks, everything else becomes a lot easier.
That’s exactly why I’ve started creating content online.
I’m building a YouTube channel where I break down core maths topics (like place value, addition, and subtraction) in a simple, step-by-step way—no overcomplicated explanations, just clear teaching that actually makes sense.
My goal is to help students build real understanding and confidence, instead of just memorising methods and hoping for the best.
I’ve just started uploading, so it’s still early—but that also means you can follow along from the beginning as I build it up.
If that sounds useful (or you just want to support an up-and-coming tutor and creator), feel free to check it out:
