THE BOY WHO COULD NOT WALK, BUT CARRIED MANY
There was a boy named Tunde. Accident from birth - he could not use his legs. His friends ran to play football, he sat under mango tree and watched.
He thought God forgot him. He asked his mama, "Why did God make me like this? I cannot be useful."
One Sunday, pastor preached - 2 Cor 12:9 "My grace is sufficient for you, my strength is made perfect in weakness."
Tunde went home and prayed, "Okay God, if I cannot go with legs, I will go with my mouth."
He started calling his friends one by one from his chair: "Come, I will tell you Bible story."
First 2 came. Then 5. Then 12. Under that same mango tree where he used to feel shame, he started a children's Bible club.
From that chair, he led 30 children to Christ. Children who could run, were now sitting to listen to a boy who could not run.
One day one child told him, "Brother Tunde, if you were running around like us, you would not have time to teach us. Your chair is your pulpit."
Tunde smiled. He understood. God didn't need his legs, God needed his mouth and his heart.
Today his little mango tree church has become 3 branches.
Lesson:God never asks what you don't have. He asks for what you have.
