Testnet, adı üstünde olduğu gibi test amacıyla kurulmuş alternatif Bitcoin blokzinciridir. Testnet üzerindeki coinler hiçbir değere sahip olmayıp sadece test edilmek üzere tasarlanmıştır. Gerçek bitcoin kullanmak zorunda kalmadan uygulama geliştiricilerine veya bitcoin test cihazlarının denemelerine olanak tanır.
Tesnet Ağına Nasıl Bağlanırım ?
Testnet ağına bağlanmak için Bitcoin.Org sitesinden sisteminize uygun cüzdanı indirip kurmanız gerekiyor. Bitcoin Core klasöründeki Bitcoin Core tesnet uygulamasını açtığınızda Tesnet ağına bağlanmış olursunuz.
Tesnet ve Ana Blok Zinciri Arasındaki Farklar
Tesnet blok zincirinde coinler test için oluşturulmuştur, Ana blok zincirindeki coinler ise gerçek coinlerdir.
Testnet coinlerinin hiçbir maddi değeri yoktur, ana blok zincirindeki coinlerin maddi değeri vardır.
Tesnet ADDRESSVERSION 0x6F kullanırken, ana blok zinciri 0x00 kullanır.
Testnet’te header byte 0x0B110907 kullanırken, Bitcoin’de 0xF9BEB4D9’dur.
Testnette yeni bir genesis başlangıç bloğu varken, ana blok zincirinde yoktur.
Testnet mining zorluk derecesi ana blok zincirine oranla daha kolaydır.
