The hottest places on Earth are typically found in desert regions where high temperatures are common. Keep in mind that temperatures can vary, and the rankings may change due to fluctuations and new records. As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, here are some of the hottest places on Earth:

  1. Lut Desert, Iran: The Lut Desert has recorded some of the highest ground temperatures on Earth, reaching up to 159.3°F (70.7°C) in 2005.
  2. Death Valley, USA: Furnace Creek Ranch in Death Valley, California, holds the record for the highest air temperature ever recorded on Earth, reaching 134°F (56.7°C) in 1913.
  3. Dasht-e Kavir, Iran: Another Iranian desert, Dasht-e Kavir, is known for its extreme temperatures.
  4. Tirat Zvi, Israel: This agricultural community in Israel has experienced extremely high temperatures, with records exceeding 129°F (54°C).
  5. Timbuktu, Mali: Timbuktu, located in the Sahara Desert, is known for its scorching temperatures.
  6. Kuwaitsi, Kuwait: Kuwait has recorded some of the highest temperatures in the Middle East.
  7. Flaming Mountains, China: The Flaming Mountains in the Turpan Depression of China have recorded temperatures exceeding 122°F (50°C).
  8. Wadi Halfa, Sudan: Wadi Halfa in Sudan experiences extremely high temperatures, particularly during the summer months.
  9. Churu, India: Churu, a city in the Rajasthan desert, has recorded some of the highest temperatures in India.
  10. Aghajari, Iran: Aghajari, an oil-producing region in Iran, has experienced extremely high temperatures.

It's important to note that these rankings may change, and newer temperature records may have been set since my last update. Always refer to the latest sources for the most up-to-date information on extreme temperatures.
