a vulnerable piece about a mistake you made or lesson I should’ve learnt in life for Web3

I’ll say something I wish I understood earlier in Web3.

Not every opportunity is meant for you.

And forcing your way into everything will quietly drain you.

When I started, I said yes to almost everything.

Every collab
Every space
Every “opportunity”
Every DM that looked like it could lead somewhere

I thought being everywhere meant I was growing.

But I was just… scattered.

No direction.
No real identity.
Just noise.

I was writing, but not saying anything meaningful.
I was showing up, but not being remembered.

And the worst part?

I knew.

I could feel it.

That quiet voice telling me
“This isn’t you”

But I ignored it because I didn’t want to miss out.

Web3 moves fast.
And when you see others winning, it feels like you’re behind.

So you start chasing.

Chasing relevance
Chasing validation
Chasing visibility

Until you lose your own voice.

One day, I looked at everything I was doing and asked myself:

“If I remove the pressure to impress… would I still be doing this?”

The answer humbled me.

That was the moment I realized…

I wasn’t building.
I was reacting.

Since then, I’ve started doing things differently.

Less noise.
More intention.

Writing things I actually understand
Sharing thoughts I truly believe in
Taking my time to grow into my own voice

I’m still learning.
Still figuring things out.

But at least now, it feels like mine.

If you’re in Web3 and you feel lost or behind…

Maybe you’re not behind.

Maybe you’re just not aligned yet.

And that’s something you can fix.
