Just a Thought

I used to write daily on Facebook, but I like it better here. And I'm sure my FB friends would appreciate me typing my words elsewhere than in their feeds LOL. And if you are from my FB feed- welcome to my new home. It feels good here.

This is perhaps the mantra of this blog...
"Without inner peace, outer peace is impossible."

This applies so well to just about anything you can think of... Relationships, faith, politics, even foreign affairs.

I heard it in an introductory class this past weekend on Buddhism. Apparently it is a quote from Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. Don't ask me how to pronounce that. Although I did enjoy the class and the principles that were taught, I am not ready to sign on to any specific dogma. I think I'll read about it on my own instead, because I do share many of the beliefs that were introduced.
