A "BREIF" SUMMARY

Romeo and Juliet is a tragedy we believe is set in about the late 14th century in Verona, Italy. It is about two high-class teenagers who fall deeply in love at first sight. It starts out with a fight between the Monatgue and Capulet servants. This is common in the time period because of the constant feud between the two families. At the beginning of the play Romeo is a very depressed, sad person because he is in love with someone who doesn't love him back, Rosaline. This completely changes when Romeo and a few other Montague kinsmen enter the annual Capulet ball and Romeo sees Juliet. They instantly fall in love with eachother despite the feud between their two families still going on. Lord Capulet wants Juliet to marry this "perfect man" Paris, but Juliet says it is "an honour she dreams not of". Though she is so willing to marry Romeo, that even though it's illegal, they get Friar Laurence (Priest) to secretly marry them. Then something horrible happens.. Romeo is banished for killing Tybalt becuse he killed Romeo'sh best friend Mercutio out of anger for the Montague family. Juliet and Romeo are both devastated that they can't see eachother, and Juliet is being forced to marry Paris. The only way out is death... Or the perception of death. Juliet gets Friar Laurnece to give her a potion to put her to sleep for 42 hours making her seem dead, then Romeo is to come rescue her, but he doesn't get the message she's still alive so when he arrives, he kills himself there with Juliet so he could be close to her in death. When Juliet wakes up she sees Romeo dead beside her and also takes her own life to stay close with him forever.
