Month in Review: July 2024
Introduction
BULB’s July Month-In-Review is a few days late! That’s only because we are all busy watching the Olympics, and now finally have the time to catch up on BULB over the weekend. In this release, we will keep everyone updated on what’s been happening on the platform and what’s ahead of us, especially on the product side of things.
Now let’s dive into it!
Platform Activity Consistently Rising
Latest BULB Leaderboard
Platform activity has consistently increased, largely due to the introduction of BULB Threads. It is clear that the community has a group of active, enthusiastic, and creative individuals just constantly sharing new thoughts and ideas on the fly, which drives meaningful engagement on the platform. The ratio between good actors versus bad actors is now also clearly in the favour of the former, where good actors are always policing the platform via legitimate reporting and moderating.
To be quite honest, even the BULB team could not believe how “clean” the platform is given that this is still Web3 land. For that, we are grateful to the entire BULB community in making this platform such a fantastic place to be in!
BULB’s Key Upcoming Features
BULB Trade To Earn
Firstly, we know that BULB’s Token Price has not been performing the best, and we think that is attributed to many factors, including the broader macro crypto environment, global economic uncertainty, legacy BULB Token holders offloading and so on. And thus, one of the major features coming up that is aimed at driving more BULB Token trading activity is Trade-to-Earn.
That’s right, we will be undergoing blockchain level integration to automatically track who is trading the BULB Token, and reward BULB Points for the user, boosting the user’s ranking on BULB. We believe this will help drive some more token trading activity and get BULB into the spotlight!
Secondly, another key feature stack that’s coming up over the next 3 months is upgrading BULB Threads so that it has feature parity with BULB Blogs. BULB Blogs is much more advanced as a product as we have been developing this for nearly 3 years. But now, we got to be replicating all those little yet valuable features all the way to BULB Threads in order to level up the experience. Stay tuned for updates on this end!
Lastly, as we have mentioned many times, building a BULB Mobile App is still on our radar, and we want to ask the community on your thoughts of BULB developing our own Mobile App. We understand that many BULBers may access BULB via an in-app browser, such as Phantom App on the smartphone, but the experience is definitely inferior to the desktop experience. We are committed to delivering this feature and speed this up, but we need to make sure there’s solid community demand on this massive product release.
