Bitcoin.com announced a partnership with Freename, the world's leading Web3 domain platform, to enable Bitcoin.com Wallet app users to send and receive crypto using human-readable domain names—such as yourname.sat or even yourname.com—instead of cumbersome, error-prone cryptographic wallet addresses composed of long strings of letters and numbers.

It should feel like sending a message or email.” By integrating human-readable domains into the wallet, the partnership aims to make self-custody and peer-to-peer (P2P) payments as intuitive and simple as possible, directly addressing the technical friction that has long hindered mass adoption.
Users can easily register a personalized Web3 domain, such as .sat or other Top-Level Domains (TLDs), via Freename and link it directly to their Bitcoin.com Wallet. Once set up, this domain serves as their universal identity across the crypto ecosystem, usable for sending, receiving, and establishing a Web3 presence. The Bitcoin.com Wallet has introduced a new “Domains” section in its Web3 Explorer for easy domain browsing and registration through Freename.
