Prophet Muhammad is considered the founder and final prophet of the Islamic faith. He was born in Mecca in 570 AD and passed away in Medina in 632 AD. The prophet, who holds great importance in the Islamic world, witnessed many events and achieved many successes throughout his life.

“The most excellent Jihad is that for the conquest of self.” “The rights of women are sacred. See that women are maintained in the rights assigned to them.” “God enjoins you to treat women well, for they are your mothers, daughters, aunts.”


Birth and Family: Prophet Muhammad was born into the Quraysh tribe, one of the most powerful tribes in Mecca. His father was Abdullah and his mother was Aminah. His father passed away soon after his birth, and he was raised by his mother. His childhood was spent in poverty, and he entered into trade at a young age.


First Revelation: At the age of 40, Prophet Muhammad was visited by the angel Gabriel and received a message from Allah. This message contained the basic principles of the Islamic faith and bestowed upon Prophet Muhammad the role of prophet. This event is considered one of the most important turning points in Islamic history.

Mecca Period: Prophet Muhammad faced many difficulties in Mecca while attempting to spread the Islamic faith. Initially, he was only supported by his family and close friends. However, over time, interest in the Islamic faith grew and many people became Muslims. This situation was perceived as a threat by the people of Mecca, and Prophet Muhammad and his followers were subjected to many attacks.

“A Muslim must not hate his wife and if he be displeased with one bad quality in her, then let him be pleased with another that is good.” “Say what is true, although it may be bitter and displeasing to people.”


Hijra: As the persecution in Mecca intensified, Prophet Muhammad and his followers decided to leave. This event is known as the Hijra and marks the beginning of the Islamic calendar. Prophet Muhammad and his followers settled in the city of Medina and laid the foundations of the Islamic state. Medina Period: Prophet Muhammad witnessed many important events and governed the Islamic state during his time in Medina. He participated in many battles and contributed to the spread of the Islamic faith. He also shaped the political and social structure of the Islamic world by signing many treaties.


Passing: Prophet Muhammad passed away in Medina in 632 AD. Before his passing, he gave his final sermon and conveyed many important messages to the Islamic world. His passing was met with great sadness in the Islamic world and was seen as a great loss for the future of the Islamic faith. In conclusion, the life of Prophet Muhammad holds great importance in the Islamic world. The prophet, who established the basic principles of the Islamic faith, faced many difficulties throughout his life and achieved many successes.

Today, Prophet Muhammad's teachings remain significant in the Islamic world and form the basic principles of the Islamic faith.
