Bitcoin is considered the first representative of crypto assets and a currency that covers the entire ecosystem as the dominant market. When the wind blows in Bitcoin, there is a storm in the coins. With the approval of the ETF, the sun has risen for those who follow crypto assets closely.
Gary Gensler, Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission SEC, which is the CMB of the USA, finally announced that the listing and trading of "spot Bitcoin ETF shares" has been approved.
When the confirmation first came, there were those who had a hard time believing it and tried to confirm it. The reason for this was that the SEC's account was hacked and the news that spot Bitcoin ETFs were approved the day before turned out to be "fake".
Let's see what will happen after the real and final approval of the spot Bitcoin ETF!
The SEC did not approve more than 20 spot Bitcoin ETF applications in previous years.
Today's approval from the SEC is for ETFs, but does not indicate that the Commission has approved listing standards for cryptoasset securities.
Chairman Gensler reminded that the vast majority of crypto assets are investment contracts and emphasized that they are subject to federal securities laws.

"Bitcoin is a speculative asset"
While the SEC decision also includes protecting investors, Gensler also underlined that Bitcoin ETFs should be fully and accurately disclosed.
Spot Bitcoin ETFs will be listed and traded on registered national securities exchanges.
Gensler stated that the exchanges are surrounded by rules that do not include fraud and manipulation, and said, 'We will monitor them closely.'
Reminding that they approved the listing and trading of 'certain' spot Bitcoin ETF shares, the SEC Chairman said, 'We did not approve or find Bitcoin appropriate,' while also reminding them of its place in black money and terrorist financing and warned investors to be careful.

What will Bitcoin ETFs bring to investors?
Spot Bitcoin ETF allows people to trade by taking advantage of market movements without purchasing Bitcoin directly.
Analysts note that spot Bitcoin ETFs mean greater distribution and usage for the digital currency.
It is also thought that the inclusion of new investors in the sector will create more volume and higher liquidity.
Analysts think that the SEC's approval also creates an important indicator and impact on the future of investments in cryptocurrencies.
