Blockchain
What is Blockchain?
Blockchain, in simple terms, is a decentralized database.
In a more professional sense, Blockchain is a system for storing and managing data in a way that is not controlled by a single individual or central authority.
This means that the data within the system is distributed among network participants, which enhances security, transparency, and trust.
Transactions on the Blockchain operate through a Peer-to-Peer (P2P) system.
This means that transactions are conducted directly between users without the involvement of an intermediary such as a bank or central authority. In a P2P network, participants (often called nodes) interact with one another to verify and validate transactions collectively.
This structure enhances transparency, reduces transaction costs, increases speed, and strengthens security since there is no single point of control or failure.
