Bitcoin price to break all-time high ’soon,’ surges past $63,000: analyst

The bitcoin price is gaining momentum, breaking $63,000 today and hitting new all-time highs in dozens of countries.
The bitcoin price is seeing significant gains today, breaking the $62,800 mark and reaching its all-time high value in more than 30 countries.
“Right now, bitcoin is all-time high in 30-plus countries and soon it will be (so) in 300 countries,” George Tung reported in the video above. “Once bitcoin suprasses $69,000, it will be at its all-time high in every single country.”
Perspective: The bitcoin price has seen gains of more than 8% in the last day and could be experiencing a surge that brings it above its all-time mark of $69,010 hit on November 10, 2021.
“Last time we hit above $57,000, it took us only eight days … to form an all-time high,” Tung noted. “Yesterday was day one… So today’s day two and we already broke above $60,000.”
More details: Balaji Srinivasan, the former chief technology officer at Coinbase, has reported that the bitcoin price has now surpassed its all-time high in dozens of countries, including massive economies like China and India.
“In 30 countries representing 60% of the world’s population and 30% of its GDP, bitcoin has passed all-time highs,” Srinivasan noted.
Tung added that the current bitcoin market is seeing growing demand from spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs), institutional products that could be introducing brand-new investors into the digital asset space.

“We didn’t have 12 or 13 ETFs buying up $600 million (of bitcoin) a day” in previous bull runs, Tung pointed out. “The ETF effect is real… There’s only so much bitcoin to be sold.”
Key takeaways: Tung also pointed out that bitcoin could be headed for a new all-time high price just as a reward halving takes place in April, an event that immediately slashes the newly-issued supply in half and drives a supply shock in the market.
“We may be hitting $69,000 soon … we’ve talked about an all-time high before the halving event,” he said. “That’d be absolutely crazy…. At this rate, we’ll hit $70,000 in a week."
The context: The bitcoin price has seen 10% gains today and nearly 50% gains in the last month, as of this writing.
