Red meat rocketing!

In the past 10 years, red meats such as beef and lamb have sky rocketed in price. From a measly 15-20 dollars per kg for a fine cut of beef to now a whopping 50-55 dollars for something like a rib eye is an incredible price jump. Red meats used to be considered common foods and nowadays can be considered luxury meats just because of their expensive price. It's been expected that in the next 30-50 years, the average person will not be able to afford red meats and it will be completely treated as a luxury. That along with poultry and pork will also continue to raise in price to a pointy where those in the lower class can no longer afford it and have to resort to other forms of protein to supplement in their diet.

This will be more prominent in countries that are subject to a rapid increase in population density which can result in farmland being converted in more residentials to accommodate the population. Countries like Australia with a relatively low population density will be impacted far less as a lot of the area of the unpopulated regions can and most likely will be used for farming and agriculture purposes.
