The enemy within

What a harmful and furious friend 
Who comes unexpectedly to people 
Always rebuked in all nations n tribes
Causing despair among where he visits 
Oh crooked and bad friend 

Oh enemy of all nations n tribes
Invisible but very powerful friend
Looking round for innocent people 
Victims languish in pains and tears
Oh crooked and bad friend 

Destroying people with bad thoughts 
Always coming like a thief always 
To drink innocent blood of victims
Making people cry endless tears 
Oh crooked and bad friend 

Causing confusion night and day
Making people question God day long 
Making people run helter-skelter
A great friend of despair and hurt
Oh crooked and bad friend 


Always pretending to be friendly 
Making people fall asleep every time 
But they never get to wake up again
They sleep for real and forever 
Oh crooked and bad friend 

I have indeed lost a lot
And so is life
