JLR's wholesale sales in the December quarter stood at 79,591 units, up 15 per cent from a year ago. This figure does not include its joint venture in China. Meanwhile, retail numbers for the December quarter grew 5.9 per cent year-on-year to 84,827 units.
Strong Q3 numbers have given a boost to Tata Motors. This is the reason why Tata Motors shares gained momentum after the new development. The company is expected to report its Q3 results on January 25.
