How to be organized(2)
In additional to some points I already made in my former article, these are some more ways you can bring organization to your life.
Keep a to-do list
If you prefer to write things down, a planner can help you keep track of everything you need to do. If you prefer having things at the touch of a button, you can keep a list on your phone, tablet, or laptop. There are several apps available that can assist you in creating a to-do list, setting reminders, and tracking the progress of your tasks. What matters most is that you write down everything you need to do right away. Otherwise, if you tell yourself you'll write them down later, you'll probably forget and miss them.
Clean up physical clutter
Make it a point to clean up physical spaces such as your home, garage, car, and work desk. Make an effort to keep surfaces as clean and clutter-free as possible.
This may take some time, but try to focus on one area per week, depending on your available time. Keep only what you need and donate what you don't.
Get rid of digital clutter
It can also aid in the decluttering of your digital spaces. Uninstall any apps you're not using on your phone, and delete any photos, videos, and documents you don't need because they take up a lot of space.
Maintain an organized filing system for all of your files and documents on your laptop. Sort your emails into folders and delete any unnecessary junk mail. Unsubscribe from newsletters that you no longer read. Close unnecessary browser tabs or bookmark them for later use.
