Let’s talk about AI. Real talk fr.

AI is tech that lets machines do things that normally require human intelligence.
Things like learning, understanding language, recognizing faces, making decisions.
It’s not sci-fi anymore. We don't have to wait for 2058.
It’s Uber finding the fastest route.
Netflix knowing you’re in your villain era.
The term 'Artificial Intelligence' was coined by John McCarthy back in 1956. Since then, it has grown into different branches:

Machine Learning
This is where systems learn from data. Like how Spotify keeps serving you heartbreak songs after one sad playlist.
Natural Language Processing (NLP)
It means what it sounds like. This is how ChatGPT understand and converse with human language. It's also how Gmail finishes your sentences before you do.
Expert Systems
They mimic decision-making by using logic based on rules. Think about things like medical diagnosis software or financial risk analysis tools.
Computer Vision
This is how your phone unlocks with your face, or how self-driving cars know not to run over a trader's stall (hopefully).
Speech Recognition
Like voice notes that turn into text. Or you trying to call your ex with countless "Hey Siri!"
Robotics
This is where hardware meets AI. What I mostly enjoy in sci-fi movies. You know, robots doing surgery, cleaning floors, or delivering food in Silicon Valley. Even China.

So yeah. AI isn’t just some abstract thing. It's also not just Chat GPT.
It’s here. It’s real. And it’s slowly folding itself into everyday life.

Why should you care?
Because it’s changing everything.
I'm Catalyst, and I’m an AI-curious marketer.
I’ll be shining the spotlight on where tech meets creativity, and what it means for me and brands I'm involved with.

You might wanna stick around.
