Tired at a young age...

Recently, it feels like I’ve lived three lives in one bear market.

I wake up some mornings like my battery’s already at 1% and no, I haven’t even touched Discord yet.

But it’s more than just feeling tired. It’s like your soul is buffering. You haven’t even figured life out yet and somehow you’re sprinting blindfolded through this Web3 x Real Life x Late Capitalism simulation… with lag.

And it’s not just me — so many of us are here. Burnt out. Maxed out. Smiling like everything’s bullish when inside, we’re watching our bandwidth bleed red.

If that’s you, I see you. Drop a like so the algorithm knows we’re still alive.

For my birthday in January, I signed up for this fancy content marketing course. Cost a chunk of ETH (okay fine, fiat) 🌚. Guess how many sessions I attended?

One. Just one. And no, it wasn’t recorded.

The guilt spiral hit: “You’re wasting money,” “You’re unserious,” “Do more.”
But also, I was juggling 80-hour weeks, side quests, content, and the occasional existential crisis. At some point, I didn’t even have time to feel bad.

Here’s the truth: We’re not lazy. We’re just overloaded.

The timeline never shuts up. In 5 minutes of scrolling, you’re hit with hustle porn, glow-ups, DAO drama, self-care rituals, and 17 reasons why your life isn’t optimized enough.

Even rest feels like a task you’re supposed to schedule.

We’re expected to build a career, scale our brand, stay present but not too online, grow but don’t burn out, glow but don’t overspend, meditate but don’t miss your GM post...

All while pretending we’re thriving.

They say this is the “prime of our lives.”

Cool. Then why do I still feel broke and broken?

No wonder some of us want to soft-launch ourselves into a cottagecore TikTok.

But listen: you’re not behind. You’re just navigating a system with more bugs than an airdropped NFT.

Our generation? Emotionally fluent AF. We know the lingo: boundaries, burnout, trauma, healing. But knowing the terms doesn’t make the weight any lighter.

So if you’re tired? Yeah. That makes sense.

You don’t need to earn rest. You don’t need to be “on track.” You’re allowed to log off, ghost the group chat, and just exist.

You’re doing the best you can.

And that’s enough.

Wishing you peace this new week. You’ve earned it. No gas fees required. 😌
