Gaming
Many Web3 game features are old Web2 ideas with crypto added on top. Ownership, trading, and rewards already exist in games like Counter-Strike or FIFA Ultimate Team. The difference is the token layer. In many cases, it does not improve gameplay. It adds wallets, fees, and risk. If the core game is weak, blockchain does not fix it. Players stay for fun, not for tokens.
Evolution of the Metaverse
The metaverse, a collective virtual space where users can interact with each other and digital environments, is expected to be a major part of GameFi’s future. GameFi projects are already experimenting with metaverse concepts, offering virtual land ownership, virtual economies, and immersive social experiences.

It's hard to say how much I will enjoy the game, as I have always enjoyed games in it's simpler form, until they introduce too many mechanics and gameplay changes. Let me know what you guys think when you play it!

1. Rainbow Six Siege
This is a 5v5 online FPS (first-person shooter) game featuring two teams: SWAT and terrorists. The objective is simple—whichever team eliminates the other first wins the round. A match consists of four rounds, and the team that wins the most rounds claims victory.
I've been playing Rainbow Six Siege since 2019, and it was a great way to pass time during the COVID lockdown. However, due to my university workload and assignments, I don't get much time to play these days.
Anyone playing/played a crafting/survival game called Valheim? Came out a couple years ago and had it's basic build and feautures, really good concept for progression and a massive sandbox world to explore with different biomes to encounter new things. Game has gotten a bunch of updates and tweaks since then. Definitely worth picking up in 2025!
In most web3 games, you spend hours farming tokens, completing quests, and leveling up assets. You call it grinding. But here's what's actually happening.
Someone else built that game. They set the token supply. They control the economy. They decide what your time is worth.
Every hour you put in creates value. But you don't capture all of it. The protocol takes a cut. The treasury grows. Early investors benefit from your activity 💀, be wise
