Believe it or not, NELFUND is working to resolve a critical issue affecting many students. If you recall, some students used online banks like OPay, Pal, MoneyPoint, and others as their designated banks, which NELFUND initially refused to pay to. These students were given the opportunity to change to commercial banks.
As a result, many students have not received their allowance/upkeep for up to 8 months. However, which means they will pay the backlog of upkeep allowance to affected students.
