Nvidia co-founder missed out on nearly $600 billion
Nvidia co-founder Curtis Priem left the company in 2003 and fully sold his stake by 2006.
At the time of the IPO in 1999, he owned about 12% of the company — roughly 3 million shares.
Had he held onto that stake, it could be worth around $574 billion today, fueled by Nvidia’s explosive growth during the AI boom.
His current net worth is estimated at about $30 million, and he admits he wishes he had kept at least part of his shares.
