BlackRock: Asset tokenization is the next generation of financial markets

With more than $15 trillion in assets under management, BlackRock has described asset tokenization as the “next generation of markets.” The investment giant believes blockchain technology can transform how traditional assets like stocks and bonds are traded, settled, and owned. BlackRock executives have repeatedly stressed that tokenization can increase market liquidity and reduce transaction costs.
