Announcing the DFlow Mobile Trading Platform, and DFlow XP Program

Today, we’re delighted to reveal the DFlow app, a powerful mobile trading platform, meticulously crafted for mobile traders. The DFlow app brings a comprehensive suite of trading features to mobile trading, and is built on top of DFlow’s novel decentralized market structure, which ensures you always get the fairest price and best execution possible.

The DFlow app gives you the power of advanced order types, ML-based token discovery tools, account abstraction with email and social sign-in, language localization, and more at your fingertips. It’s also powered by a next-generation aggregator, called a “segmenter,” which represents a significant leap in the state-of-the-art of order flow routing. Better Prices with Flow-segmented Market Structure

The DFlow app is built on top of the DFlow protocol, the first decentralized segmenter protocol. Using the DFlow Protocol, order flow is intelligently segmented and routed to the btest liquidity available based on the properties of the order flow itself. This ensures that traders on DFlow get the best prices—beyond what traditional aggregators can typically provide—thanks to exclusive access to on-chain and RFQ liquidity. The DFlow protocol promotes traders by preventing bots from competing for access to the same liquidity. Segmenters are a significant innovation in DeFi, making markets safer, fairer, and more efficient for real, human traders.

Moving Beyond Aggregators

DFlow is the first trading platform powered by a “segmenter” by virtue of the DFlow Protocol, which facilitates order flow segmentation.

Segmenters are an evolution of traditional aggregators, which treat all orderflow equally, regardless if it originates from a bot or a human; instead, DFlow’s segmenter identifies the meta-properties (i.e., if its human or bot) of the liquidity before taking that order flow and routing it to the best on-chain liquidity source available for it.

Under the hood, the DFlow protocol is able to facilitate order flow segmentation via a completely decentralized mechanism. Client code sends transactions directly to the Solana network, where the DFlow protocol, an on-chain Solana program, segments the flow.

Toxic flow from MEV searchers and bots pay higher fees for accessing liquidity, while soft order flow from humans pay lower fees for accessing the same liquidity. Segmenters recognize this dynamic fee structure, and are able to route order flow along two optimized axes: prices and fees. In this way, by using the DFlow Segmenter, users of the DFlow app access high-quality liquidity at the best price and with lower fees.

DFlow XP!

Finally, we’re also excited to announce DFlow XP! The long-term vision for the DFlow protocol is to build mature decentralized market structure through order flow segmentation. This is an enormous undertaking that is a major step towards making Solana’s DeFi execution competitive with traditional equities markets.

The mobile DFlow platform is a critical component of this long-term roadmap. For the first time, it will bring users to this new market structure, where they can trade against high-quality liquidity, while battle testing the protocol’s mechanisms.
