After the overwhelming success of their initial collaboration with @collector_crypt, Magic Eden is gearing up for another exciting Pokémon Card NFT sale. On October 27th at 12:00 PM ET, enthusiasts will have the opportunity to get their hands on digitized nostalgia.

Blockchain-powered Pokémon cards on the rise
The Magic Eden announcement reveals a collection of 250 Pokémon cards, each carefully tokenized on the blockchain. Each NFT is backed by a physical card, making it exchangeable. The minting price of these NFTs is fixed at 5.5 SOL.

Simplified coinage process
To increase the effectiveness of this second sale, Magic Eden has implemented proactive measures. The platform allocated access passes for specific communities during the initial phase of mining, referred to as “Phase 1 Mining”.
Entry requirements for this early access phase may vary from project to project, and the Magic Eden team welcomes community input on which other projects should be granted access to Phase 1.
It is important to note that even after phase 1 mining ends, there will be a public phase. This ensures that individuals outside of specially designated communities also have the opportunity to acquire these coveted NFTs.

Collecting a slice of nostalgia
On-chain real-world assets (RWAs) are gradually coming to the fore, and Pokemon cards are proving to be one of the most successful use cases. The concept was first introduced by Courtyard in September and their collection has seen a tenfold increase in price.
After the success of Courtyard, Magic Eden entered the scene with its first Pokémon card sale. The collection generated a surge in traffic during the minting phase as investors eagerly sought out the two rare Charizards and other valuable cards.

For Pokemon enthusiasts and NFT collectors, this sale offers another chance to bridge the gap between childhood nostalgia and cutting-edge digital technology. As the date approaches, the excitement continues to build.
