When the devil comes
When the devil comes, with wicked delight
He brings darkness and fear, in the dead of night
His eyes glow like embers, his presence is cold
He whispers sweet temptations, to young and old
His voice is like honey, smooth and so sweet
But his words are like poison, a deadly deceit
He promises power and wealth, and a life of ease
But delivers only suffering, and eternal disease
He is the prince of darkness, the king of lies
He rules with an iron fist, and a wicked guise
He seeks to destroy all, that is good and true
And lead the world to ruin, with a devil's crew
When the devil comes, with his wicked might
He brings destruction and chaos, in the dark of night
He is the enemy of God, and all that is right
And seeks to lead humanity, down a path of endless night
His power is great, but not infinite
For God is greater, and will always be the winner
The devil may roam, and wreak havoc and pain
But God will always triumph, and bring him to shame
When the devil comes, with his evil grin
He thinks he has won, but he will soon give in
For God is the Almighty, and will always prevail
And the devil will be defeated, and sent to his jail
His fate is sealed, his destiny is clear
He will be cast into hell, and disappear
In a lake of fire, where he will burn and writhe
For all eternity, in a devil's plight
When the devil comes, with his wicked ways
He seeks to destroy all, and bring endless days
Of suffering and pain, and a life of despair
But God will always save us, and show us He cares
The devil may try, but he will never succeed
For God is the victor, and will always take the lead
He will guide us through, the darkest of nights
And bring us to safety, in the light of His might
When the devil comes, with his evil intent
He seeks to destroy all, and make us relent
But God is our shield, our rock and our might
And with Him on our side, we will always take flight
The devil may roar, and think he is bold
But God is the Lion, and will always be told
He is the King of Kings, and the Lord of Lords
And the devil is just a foe, who will always be floored
When the devil comes, with his wicked guile
He seeks to deceive us, and make us go the wrong mile
But God is our guide, our compass and our way
And with Him leading us, we will always have a brighter day
The devil may try, but he will never win
For God is the victor, and will always take us in
He will shelter us, from the devil's wicked might
And bring us to safety, in the light of His love and light
When the devil comes, with his evil design
He seeks to destroy all, and make us decline
But God is our hope, our refuge and our strength

The devil may scheme, but he will never succeed
For God is the Almighty, and will always take the lead
He will guide us through, the darkest of nights
And bring us to safety, in the light of His might

He seeks to trap us, and make us despair
But God is our savior, our rock and our might
