PI Network 2FA Verification Setup
Hey guys Look what I found in #MAINNET CHECKLIST:
🔷 2FA
Pi Network added a security step (2-Factor Authentication) to double check that you control the wallet address you have set up for moving your Pi to the Mainnet. This happens before the migration.
🔷 IT STARTS IN THIS WAY:
You'll be asked to confirm your wallet in one of these ways:
• A pop-up in the Pi mining app.
• An email (if your email is verified).
• A prompt within Checklist Step 9.
INSTRUCTIONS:
🔷 Check the Address: The prompt will show your registered wallet address. Make sure it's the correct one you can access (the same one from Checklist Steps 3 & 6).
🔷 Confirm or Change:
• If it's correct, choose "Confirm this Wallet" and enter your wallet passphrase.
• If it's incorrect, choose "Change Wallet" and follow the instructions.
🔷 Email Verification: After entering your passphrase, you'll get an email.
❗Important: First, make sure your email address is verified in your Pi profile!
🔷 Check Sender: Ensure the email is from an official Pi address ( noreply@pi.email , noreply@picoreteam.org , or noreply@minepi.com ).
🔷 Click the Verify Your Migration Wallet" link in the email.
🔷 Finalize Passphrase: The link will open your wallet, asking for your passphrase again. Enter it.
🔷 Done: You'll see a Successfully verified message. Your wallet is now ready for the migration step (Checklist Step 9).
🔷 Key Points:
• You must complete this verification for your migration to happen.
• You have 30 days to do it after you receive the prompt.
❗Security Alert: ONLY enter your wallet passphrase when prompted directly through the Pi app, Pi Browser, or official checklist steps, and ensure the website address is wallet.pinet.com Be very careful of fake prompts or links.
🔷 Reconfirming your wallet in Checklist Step 3 also triggers this email verification. You also need to confirm the same wallet in Step 6.
