Jupiter v3, which introduces Metis, is a new routing algorithm. It improves the quality of crypto aggregators. Metis significantly improves the routing of all crypto asset pairs, reduces large trade slippage, and offers better scalability in preparation for the new DEX as well as the upcoming Solana upgrade.

In order to support Metis to run on Solana which has extremely fast block times, Jupiter also upgraded their backend infrastructure. In addition, Jupiter also introduced DCA (beta), to trial new contracts, Limit Order integration, Jupiter Space Station, and various new features as per user comments.

Other Narratives About Jupiter

JLP and Perpetual. Jupiter's Perpetual (beta) was released last month. Anyone can leverage up to 100x (SHORT and LONG) on SOL, ETH, and WBTC.

SUSD Stablecoin. This is meant to be a decentralised stablecoin that generates rewards on Solana, backed by a liquid SOL stake with dynamic leverage. Lending is interest-free with collateral and SOL staking.
