Step by Step Procedure for completing Metis

Community testing for Season 1 commenced on Monday, January 15, 2024, and it's not too late to join. Participation requires zero dollars and no coding skills, ensuring an inclusive opportunity for everyone.
The objective is to thoroughly stress test the MetisDAO decentralized Sequencer.
Let’s get started.
PS: While a PC is recommended, mobile users can utilize Misces Browser or Kiwi Browser.
• Begin by visiting the link below and connecting your wallet of choice:
decentralize.metis.io
I personally used Metamask.

• After connecting wallet, scroll down and click on "Claim Testnet Tokens."

You will be directed to the Metis Community Testing bot on Telegram.
Send "/start" followed by a space and your wallet address, like this:
“/start 0x08........................6ch2D34"
Note: Exercise patience and refrain from spamming the bot. It will respond within a few minutes.

After you get Metis faucet, you can proceed to add these contract addresses to your wallet in Testnet Metis network.

And then you can begin testing the 5 dApps available in season 1.

We begin with Tethys finance.

The goal is to
Swap Tokens (300 points)
Open a long/short position with leverage (400 points)
Add TLP liquidity (500 points)

Click “Start Now” and you’ll be redirected to Tethys home page.
Connect wallet.
•Go to “Swap” and carry out basic swaps using any token of your choice. It doesn’t have to be Metis. I swapped USDC for Metis. Click Approve and confirm transaction in your wallet.

•Long/short position:
Tethysfinance is currently having issue with the leverage trading portal as positions are not opening or inefficient balance. Team is working on it so you can check back later.

This doesn’t affect other activities though.
We proceed to Add TLP liquidity. Click on liquidity at the top. Then use any token of your choice to buy TLP. I used Metis.
Confirm transaction and you are good to go.

Now you are done with Tethys or should I say half done. Next!

Netswap

Swap tokens
Provide LP

When you click start now, you’ll be redirected to the netswap page. Click on trade and click on swap.
Proceed to swap any token of your choice. If you can’t find other tokens, just add the contract addresses.

I imported USDT for my swap

'Approve USDT’, Confirm transaction in your wallet, then ‘Swap’. You are good to go.

Next choose Pool in the Netswap homepage to add LP as seen in the picture below.

Click on Create pool. Then create pool with 2 tokens. I created pool for Metis/WETH

After this you are done with Netswap

•Next is Midas

This is one of the simplest and straightforward task to complete. Only thing you do is to enter a lottery

Connect wallet and scroll down.
Click buy tickets
This will give you 1 fake metis to buy tickets.
- Enter number of tickets you want to ( I bought 1).
- Click on 'mint tokens’. Confirm transaction in your wallet and the click’ Approve’.
-Finally, Click on ‘Buy instantly’ and Confirm transaction in wallet and you are done with Midas.

•Humus Exchange

You’ll be redirected to humus homepage.
-Click launch app, Connect wallet and perform basic swap using any two tokens of your choice.
- I swapped $USDC and $USDT.

If you don’t have so much testnet tokens you can swap 1–5 dollars.
Approve use of tokens and confirm transaction in wallet.

Next Click on the 'Pool' button at the top of page and scroll down to pool section.

- click on deposit on any of the pools to add LP
I used Quad crypto, but you can use any other pools of your choice.
I added liquidity using USDC and Metis. Remember to use a small amount of tokens so as not to exhaust your testnet tokens.
-Click preview and approve transaction in the wallet.

Wait for transaction to be complete…

Then click add liquidity. Confirm transaction in wallet and you are done.

•League.Tech

The League.Tech team is actively developing webAuth to enable League.tech to connect with Twitter. Until this feature is finalized, the execution of testnet tasks is temporarily on hold. I will provide updates as soon as the Testnet commences.
