Empathy involves observing the verbal and non-verbal language of others, asking questions curiously, and validating their feelings.
β Regulate your emotions, control those that harm you and enhance those that benefit you. To do this, you can use different strategies, such as deep breathing, relaxing, meditating, exercising, distracting yourself with something positive, or looking for the bright side of things.
β Motivate yourself, generate positive emotions that drive you to achieve your goals and improve self-esteem, set new realistic and challenging goals, celebrate each achievement, learn from mistakes or lean on positive experiences.
Emotional intelligence, like curiosity, harmony, positive thinking, resilience, etc., is also a skill that we can all develop and that can change our lives, we just need to want to learn, practice and fight for improving ourselves every day.
