Eiza González Reyna is a prominent Mexican actress and singer, recognized for her diverse roles across television and film. She rose to fame for her portrayal of Clara Molina in the Argentine Nickelodeon teen drama Sueña conmigo (2010–2011), where she showcased her talent and garnered a substantial fanbase.

González further solidified her place in the entertainment industry with notable performances in various projects. She portrayed Santanico Pandemonium in the American horror series From Dusk till Dawn: The Series (2014–2016), captivating audiences with her compelling portrayal of the iconic character.

In the action crime film Baby Driver (2017), González portrayed Monica "Darling" Castello, a role that showcased her versatility as an actress. Her performance was praised by both audiences and critics, contributing to the film's success.

Continuing to showcase her range, González ventured into the realm of sci-fi and action with roles such as Nyssiana in the cyberpunk action film Alita: Battle Angel (2019) and KT in Bloodshot (2020). Her dynamic performances in these films demonstrated her ability to excel in diverse genres.

González's talent and charisma have earned her widespread recognition and opportunities in the entertainment industry. With her upcoming role as paramedic Cam Thompson in Ambulance, audiences can anticipate yet another captivating performance from this talented actress.

Eiza González was born on January 30, 1990, in Mexico City, Mexico. She is the daughter of Glenda Reyna, a former model, and Carlos González. Tragically, her father passed away in a motorcycle accident when she was just 12 years old, an event that profoundly impacted her life and career trajectory.

Raised alongside her older brother, González attended prestigious bilingual schools in Mexico City, including Edron Academy and the American School Foundation. Her education provided her with a strong foundation as she pursued her passion for acting.
González's journey into the entertainment industry began at a young age. She enrolled in Televisa's acting school, Centro de Educación Artística, where she honed her skills. At the age of 16, she was cast as the protagonist in the teen-oriented telenovela Lola...Érase una vez, marking the beginning of her acting career.

From 2003 to 2004, Eiza González attended the M&M Studio, an acting school in Mexico City founded by renowned actress Patricia Reyes Spíndola. Her dedication to honing her craft led her to be accepted into Televisa's prestigious Centro de Educación Artística in Mexico City at the age of 14.

It was during her time at Centro de Educación Artística that González's talent caught the eye of producer and director Pedro Damián, known for his work with the Latin pop band RBD. Damián cast González in a remake of Argentina's beloved children's telenovela, Floricienta, where she portrayed the lead female protagonist, Lola Valente, in the series Lola, érase una vez. The show, which began filming in late 2006, premiered in Mexico in February 2007 and gained popularity across Latin America and the United States.

Following the success of Lola, érase una vez, González briefly moved to New York City in 2008 to attend acting classes at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. She returned to Mexico City later that year to continue pursuing her acting career.
In April 2009, González was cast in an episode of the crime drama Mujeres Asesinas for its second season, starring alongside Mexican actress Susana González. She played the role of Gaby, the teenage antagonist, in the episode "Tere, Desconfiada."

In 2010, González's career took another leap when she was cast in the Nickelodeon teen sitcom Sueña conmigo. She played the dual roles of Clara Molina and Roxy Pop in the series, which required her to travel to Buenos Aires for filming. The show, produced by Nickelodeon and Televisa, premiered in July 2010 and enjoyed success in Argentina, leading to live concerts featuring the cast in various cities.

In 2012, Eiza González ventured into cinema with her role as Cristina in the comedy-drama "Casi 30," directed by Alejandro Sugich. The film follows the story of an 18-year-old ballet student who falls in love with the lead character, Emilio. Although the movie premiered at several film festivals in Mexico in 2013, it had its nationwide release on 22 August 2014.

The same year, González starred in the Televisa series "Amores verdaderos," a remake of the TV Azteca series "Amor en custodia." Premiering on 3 September 2012, the show added to González's growing list of television credits. Notably, González was offered the lead role in Pedro Torres' television show "Gossip Girl: Acapulco," a Mexican remake of the American series "Gossip Girl," but she declined due to her commitment to "Amores verdaderos."
In late August 2013, González made the decision to move to Los Angeles to further her acting career. Soon after, she was cast in Adrian Cervantes' film "All Hail the Squash Blossom Queen." However, she was later replaced in the project when the role of Brittany was recast in 2015.

November 2013 marked a significant milestone in González's career as she joined the cast of Robert Rodriguez's television series "From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series." Portraying Santanico Pandemonium, a role originated by Salma Hayek in the original film, González's performance earned her widespread recognition. She relocated to Austin, Texas, to film the series, which garnered international attention when it became available for streaming on Netflix.

Following her success in "From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series," González continued to thrive in Hollywood, securing roles in notable films such as "Baby Driver" (2017), "Alita: Battle Angel" (2019), "Bloodshot" (2020), and "Ambulance" (2023). She also appeared in the Apple TV+ series "Extrapolations" in 2023, further solidifying her status as a versatile and talented actress.
