LET IT ONCE BE ME
I have spent so much of my life watching.
Watching others rise.
Watching others try.
Watching others get chosen.
I’ve stood at the edge of stages, behind curtains, beside the moment—always the observer, always the one clapping.
Been clapping for others… I want to be clapped for.
NOT OUT OF ENVY, but OUT OF LONGING.
Not because I don’t celebrate others—but because I’ve forgotten how to celebrate me.
I’ve been breathing, yes. Functioning, yes.
But I am tired of existing. I want to live.
I want to wake up with breath that tastes like purpose.
I want to feel the sun hit my skin and believe I was made for this life—not just to survive it, but to light it up.
What if, JUST ONCE, it was my name?
What if the light turned, soft and certain, and found me—not hiding, not hesitant, but ready?
No more waiting to be chosen.
No more rehearsing my story in the dark.
No more apologizing for wanting more.
Let it once be me:
The one who dares.
The one who tries, even when the ground shakes.
The one who walks in like she belongs—because she does.
I have clapped for others with love and pride.
But now… I want to feel what it’s like when the room claps for me.
I want to feel the sound pierce the silence around my name.
Not noise but MAGNIFICENT recognition.
This isn’t ego.
This isn’t attention-seeking.
This is awakening.
This is me choosing to stop watching and start living.
This is me choosing to STOP EXISTING AND START LIVING
THIS IS ME THIRSTY FOR “ONCE”
I’m not asking anymore.
I’m not waiting.
I’m arriving.
I am here.
I am ready.
I am enough.
Let the universe watch me take up my space.
Let the moment call me forward.
LET THE UNIVERSE SAY CHOOSE THE BEST
Let the world feel the shift when I finally say:
LET IT ONCE BE ME
with EYE filled with LONGING and ever—WANTING.
Not perfect. Not fearless.
Just present. Just alive. Just me.
