How To Grow in Web3
I thought Web3 is just learning a skill, jumped into job hunting and start earning.
I never knew that it's deeply rooted until I started the journey of learning.
The day I joined a space, I was very excited, curious and ready to grind but also confused because the terms were overwhelming.
Outside being overwhelmed, too many people were flowing with these terms as if they are founders or co-founders of Web3.
At the end of the space, though I got some knowledge but one thing that bothered me and I sought to know was, "How do people actually grow in Web3?"
I realized one thing and this is, "Growth in Web3 is not just about learning. It's about learning, building and been consistent in what you are doing.
I believe that I am not the only person that found himself in such situation. That's why I am going to detail out the approaches that I took to help myself grow in Web3.
How To Grow In Web3
1. Learn the Basics Before Chasing Opportunities
Never chase opportunities without having a full understanding of the ecosystem.
Having the basic knowledge helps you move in confidence and give you the boldness to speak.
Once you learn these basics and how things work, growth becomes less confusing and more intentional.
2. Pick a Path and Build a Skill
Web3 is too broad to know everything about it.
Growth became clearer for me when I chose a direction which is content writing and focused on building it. There are too many skills in Web3
3. Show Up Consistently and Publicly
One thing is to start and another thing is to be consistent
Consistency changed my growth pace.
When you learn, share it with the public, engage in conversations and show up in order for people to notice your effort.
Daily document your journey as it brew trust and attracts opportunities over time.
4. Engage With different Communities, Not Just Content.
The force behind Web3 is driven by communities.
I joined Twitter spaces, communities and discord servers where I asked questions, contributed my ideas and offered help. These builds connection that not even one's resume could replace.
5. Build Proof of Work Early
This is where credibility shows forth. Proof of work speaks louder than whatever you are in Web3.
Writing articles, creating content, volunteering, or participating in bounties helped me demonstrate my skills. Your work tells your story better than words ever could.
6. Learn to Communicate Simply
Newbies sought to look for those that will simplify complex Web3 terms to their understanding.
This made my content more valuable and warrant trust as people understand me.
Clear communication builds authority and long-term relevance.
Growing in Web3 is not a rush and gain. It's about learning the ecosystem, building a skill, showing up consistently, engaging with communities, and creating
proof of work.
If you stay committed, growth will come.
