Engage2Earn: Wrapping Up the Multi-Week Missions
G'day folks, the election dust is slowly settling here in Australia. With the big dance decided, it feels like a good time to tidy up some loose ends and officially wrap up the results from our final Engage2Earn missions from the election campaign period here on the Auspol Bulb profile.
It's been a hectic few weeks, and while the overall election result gave many of us reason for cautious optimism, our specific mission results... well, let's just say they tell their own story.
First, for anyone new or needing a quick memory jog, Engage2Earn was our community effort to try and make a bit of positive noise online during the election. We posted missions targeting specific social media content, set goals, and when the community hit those goals together, $AUSPOL tokens were added to a weekly pool for our active Bulb followers. The aim was always twofold: make a tangible impact online and reward community participation.

Multi-Week Missions: How Did We Go?
Alongside the weekly missions, we had a few longer-term, multi-week goals running in the background. How did these fare by the time the campaign wrapped up?
Mission: Engage2Earn: Auspol Follower Rush
- Link: https://www.bulbapp.io/p/c9b2e1ba-0fab-4b53-bd98-fee9e0f029ba/failed-engage2earn-auspol-follower-rush
- Status: FAILED ❌
- Outcome: This one was all about growing our own Bulb community – aiming for a specific follower count increase. Despite our best efforts, we only hit about 2% of the target by the end. Result: 0 $AUSPOL unlocked. Growing a community takes time and consistent effort, and maybe a dedicated mission wasn't the right way, or the target was a bit too ambitious for the timeframe.
Mission: Engage2Earn: Auspol on the memecoin shill-dar?
- Link: https://www.bulbapp.io/p/6bbe2ce9-95eb-45be-aabc-1cae61ba3d88/failed-engage2earn-auspol-on-the-memecoin-shill-dar?s_id=b708aa04-1be0-450e-b66d-59845f6aa0f4
- Status: FAILED ❌
- Outcome: This mission seemed aimed at increasing the visibility or metrics ($AUSPOL market cap, followers) related to our project within the wider crypto/memecoin space – perhaps getting listed or noticed on certain platforms. Again, the results were pretty minimal, hitting only 6% of the market cap target and 2% of the follower target. Result: 0 $AUSPOL unlocked. These kinds of goals are often tricky and depend on external factors beyond simple community engagement.
Mission: Engage2Earn: Veterans Affairs Labor Repairs
- Link: https://www.bulbapp.io/p/73a05ec4-a694-4610-81cd-1669d5bd0e18/failed-engage2earn-veterans-affairs-labor-repairs
- Status: FAILED ❌
- Outcome: This mission focused on amplifying content related to Labor's efforts in Veterans' Affairs – clearly an important policy area. While there was some engagement, particularly on X (47% of target), it wasn't enough across the board, with Facebook (13%) and Bluesky (23%) lagging. Result: 0 $AUSPOL unlocked.
But ... What A Win It Was
Historic and hopeful. This election result felt like a turning point for our country. Not the one the MAGA organisation Turning Point wants for Australia, but one where kindness and fairness are central to society.
ICYMI: The Big Picture from Week 4 & The Election
While we're wrapping up these specific mission results, it's crucial to remember the much bigger context we discussed in our last post, which covered both the Week 4 E2E results and the Federal Election outcome. If you missed that detailed analysis, here are the main takeaways:
- Week 4 E2E = Dud: As confirmed above, Week 4 saw a 0% success rate across its missions, unlocking zero $AUSPOL. This was a significant drop from Week 3 (11M unlocked, 25% success) and Week 2 (35M unlocked, 50% success). The end-of-campaign fatigue/distraction seemed very real for E2E participation.
- BUT... Labor Won the Election! The massive news overshadowing the E2E results was Labor's victory, securing a majority government. Anthony Albanese made history as the first PM re-elected for a second term in over 20 years.
- Dutton Defeated (Even in Dickson!): Adding to the Coalition's woes, leader Peter Dutton lost his own seat of Dickson – a seat we successfully targeted in our Week 3 "Ali can beat Dutton" mission!
- MAGA Setback, Not Elimination: The election result was framed as a welcome setback for the creeping influence of divisive, MAGA-style politics in Australia. However, the post stressed that the underlying ideologies remain a threat, and ongoing vigilance is absolutely essential.
- E2E Election Campaign Concludes: That post also noted that the intensive multi-week Engage2Earn drive focused specifically on the election period was drawing to a close, thanking everyone for participating (unlocking 66M $AUSPOL in total over the weeks).
- The Fight Continues...: Crucially, it ended by teasing that while this phase is over, the broader fight against disinformation and for a healthy democracy continues, hinting at new post-election challenges and missions to come.
Seriously, Read the Full Wrap-Up!
That's just the Coles Notes version. The full post dives much deeper into the Week 4 vs Week 3 comparison, reflects more on the results, provides more context on the election outcome and the MAGA threat, and sets the scene for what's next.
If you haven't read it yet, it really ties together the end of the E2E campaign with the election result:

So, What Now?
With the election decided and this initial Engage2Earn campaign phase concluded, it's a moment to take stock. The E2E results themselves were mixed across the weeks, showing both the potential and the challenges of coordinating online community action. We learned a lot about what works, what doesn't, and how much consistent effort is required.
But the bigger picture – the successful re-election of a Labor government and the rejection of the Coalition's harder edge – is cause for some relief. It suggests the values many in this community champion have broader support.
However, as stressed before, this isn't mission accomplished. The forces pushing division and misinformation won't just pack up and go home. Policy debates will continue, new online threats will emerge, and holding the government accountable is an ongoing job.
Keep following the Auspol profile here on Bulb. While the election E2E missions are done, the underlying project of fostering informed debate and countering negativity continues. We'll be back with new ideas and potentially new ways for the community to get involved in keeping Aussie politics fair dinkum in the post-election landscape.
Thanks again for being part of the journey so far. Stay engaged, stay critical, and stay tuned!
