This time, the forecast wasn't wrong. Anthropic just dropped Fable 5

Same Mythos core, but now with a "idiot-proof" guardrail 🛡️

Fable 5 is already rolling out inside Claude Code subscriptions — $20, $100, and $200 tiers.

But here's the catch ⚠️

It's only available until June 22 inside the subscription. After that? Pure API pricing for everyone:

· $10 per 1M input tokens
· $50 per 1M output tokens

That's 2x more expensive than Opus 💸

And one more thing they don't shout about:

All your Fable queries will be stored on their servers for 30 days and analyzed. The goal? Catch anyone using the model illegally — distillation, abuse, you name it.
