Over Protocol is a new layer 1 blockchain built on the "Ethanos" protocol, which only considers current accounts authentic, allowing full nodes to reject obsolete data and function with less storage, resulting in lower storage requirements. With Over Protocol, anyone may run a node and become a validator on their home computers. Ethanos was introduced at EuroSys'21.
