Do people really have favourite flowers?

If people do, my best flower would be Sunflower.
Who wouldn't love them?
I know there's the Hibiscus, Daffodils, Dandelion, Rose, Cherry Blossom and others. But if you asked why I loved Sunflowers, here's the reason.

First, the large and colorful flower heads of the sunflower, it makes me smile as it shines and blooms magnificently. Sunflowers are known for being “happy” flowers, making them the perfect gift to bring joy to someone's (or your) day.

Before I proceed, here's a little of it's history.

Sunflowers are native to the Americas. The sunflower was a common crop among native American tribes throughout North America.
Historical evidence suggests the plant was cultivated by native Americans around 3000 BC, and some archaeologists suggest that sunflowers might have been domesticated before corn.
The sunflower is the state flower of Kansas and the national flower of Ukraine.
Another reason why I love the sunflower is that the sunflower is a fast-growers and is very easy to start from seed.

Lastly, these flowers are unique. They have the ability to provide energy in the form of nourishment and vibrancy—attributes which mirror the sun and the energy provided by its heat and light.

Fun Facts about Sunflowers:

1). The current world record for the tallest sunflower was set in 2014, at a towering 30 feet, 1 inch, grown by Hans-Peter Schiffer in Germany2.

2). Sunflowers are bee magnets; each flower head produces a large volume of pollen and nectar that lures in bees and other pollinators

As heliotropic flowers that call to mind, the sunflowers signify loyalty, devotion, and admiration, as well as warmth and happiness. It wouldn't be bad if you grew them in your garden.
Cultivate that happiness within you and in you. Cultivate a sunflower today. 🌻
