Echo
Once time has passed, what remains are only shadows. Behind missed opportunities, unspoken words, and hands never held, a void grows. A person realizes too late that time cannot be turned back; yet life falls silent under the weight of the most delayed moments.
Regret that comes afterward cannot bring back the step never taken at the start. Neither a spoken apology restores lost trust, nor courage that comes too late revives a missed dream. Once time has flowed, nothing is ever the same again.
Perhaps one can pay the debt of the past today, but the repayment will never be complete. For the meaning of something past its time has already vanished; what remains is only the echo of “if only.”
And it is in the silence of that echo that a person withers the most.Because time reminds us that the only thing it never forgives is courage that comes too late.
