These Apps Pay You to Talk to Lonely People. There Are 4 Types. 👀

Day 3: Paid-chat apps come in 4 types

Day 1 was the intro. Day 2 was how chatters earn. Today: not every paid-chat app works the same. Chatters say there are four types.

1. Audio apps. You get paid for voice calls and talking to people. Some also let you play music in a room.
2. Video apps. You earn from video calls. The longer the call, the more you earn, and private calls pay more. One chatter's coin log shows a single video call paying 390 coins.
3. Livestream apps. You go live and earn when viewers send you gifts. In the screenshot, you can see a big gift animation and a list ranking the viewers.

4. Chat apps. You earn from messaging, and the more you chat, the more you earn. One message pays about 0.2, but a rose gift pays 15, and a Lamborghini gift pays 600.

So even on chat apps, gifts seem to be where the bigger money is.

All of this is as chatters describe it. The earnings are unverified and not a promise of income.
