How To Find Airdrops

There is an ocean of possible airdrops, but it's very hard to find good ones. Most projects won't do well, or they will not give you anything. The possibility of getting a real good airdrop is very low, but it is possible.

Of the most effective way to find good ones is to follow the right people on Twitter. Another (and the easiest) is just to explore the #airdrop on X (former Twitter), although when you explore this section 95% of it is botted. Bots are a plague but some people are trying to exploit the system for extra cash.

Now I will show you 2 examples of an airdrop I found on Twitter in March and I thought they were good: $VENOM and $NIBI:

$VENOM : They promised a fair airdrop if you completed the Test Net tasks but once the date of the airdrop was closing in, they released and set the parameter of completing 24 of 25 tasks to get the airdrop. I didn't waste too much time on it, but I didn't qualify for it because I completed only 22 out of 25 available. A big red flag of VENOM was the discord was botted, 90% of it at least, the team was mostly absent and they were more focused on the price of the token than on the promised airdrop.

$NIBI : 500,000 people completed their social tasks (same number as VENOM), but they did something better than them. They set a parameter on discord that you had to prove you were not a bot (KYC) before the airdrop date. Out of that 70% of "customers" were bots, and they will not qualify for it. They had some issues with their platform and they gave 10 extra $NIBI tokens for free as an apology. I just did their social tasks, I'm not expecting much but the fact that they had to delay the airdrop and for that they airdropped extra tokens proves that this team knows how to engage with their customers.

At the moment there are many projects you can find doing the social tasks on Twitter, on the bright side they are free to do but some won't be worth it and some will be.

Some examples are: Unblocked (If you use my referral Y2sOJIQNPP you get 1000 points), Superfans (your airdrop will be vested, cause that's why they did with season1), Side (Test Net).

Another way to find to find airdrops is to follow the right people on Twitter.

There are so many crypto influencers out there and most of them they don't care about their audience. Right now the hottest chain for airdrops is Solana, so I'm focusing mostly on that one.
I only found 2 good influencers doing a great job explaining Solana Airdrops:

1. @FabianoSolana
He really tries to explain how and the difference between various projects.

2. @jussy_world
He's another good fella, with a lots of threads to dive in.

Another guy that does a lot of farmer content is @farmercist_eth although is not my favorite and sometimes he farms his followers.

Another way to find some airdrops is a https://airdrops.io/. One website where you can dive in and lose some hours to find some gems, the good thing they try to post most chains but it's not always updated. What I do is if something is interesting I check their website and twitter to see where the team is with the project.

Two interesting website are https://zealy.io/ and https://galxe.com/ . These 2 websites are very interesting cause projects post Social Tasks and after completing them you get a piece of the cake. I prefer Zealy (more user friendly), one good example for me was ZEUS, I spent like 10 minutes in a whole month completing social tasks for that project, I was top 10% in the leaderboard and the airdrop was around 200 USD!

FYI not all projects will airdrop a lot of tokens to you, but some will. Try to find the good project is a bit hard, but one way to find out if you are wasting your time or not it's to enter the discord of the project you are interested in and asks questions. Lots of them. If the team is present and willing to answer everything with clarity: BINGO you found a good project!
My suggestion is try to farm 3-5 airdrops at the time, focus on the good ones, but don't waste too much time on it. Most of them won't pay as much as you would think.

I hope this article was helpful and I wish you a good hunt!
