Multiple government websites of US government reported outage extending to 20 minutes as President Joe Biden delivered state of the union address to a joint session of Congress in the Capitol Hill. The websites are back online after a brief interruption

Reports suggest big government websites including DHS, ICE, FEMA and the Secret Service, reported outage. According to Search.gov, a search engine by and for the federal government, planned maintenance was scheduled from 3pm to 6pm on Thursday.

Cause of outage is still not known.

Donald Trump's Truth social media platform also witnessed outages during Joe Biden State of the Union address.
According to a chart crafted by Down Detector, MAGA supporters began to experience outages around 9 pm tonight. Truth Social appeared to be running smoothly throughout the day. Users began complaining on the website, each sharing a different problem they encountered with the app tonight.

A United Airlines plane sought an emergency landing after one of its tyres fell during takeoff on Thursday. The aircraft bound for Japan was diverted to Los Angeles after the risky incident occurred while taking off from San Francisco. The United Flight 35 landed safely at the Los Angeles International Airport at 1:30 pm ET, the Federal Aviation Administration said.

United Airlines plane loses tyre during takeoff

At around 11:35 am, the plane lost a portion of the landing gear, according to ABC News. The footage from the incident shows the plane losing one of its six tyres on the left side just seconds after takeoff. The debris from the incident left multiple vehicles damaged as the tyre landed at the airport's employee parking lot. The airport said that there were no resulting injuries to anyone near the runway.

“We're grateful to our pilots and flight attendants for their professionalism in managing this situation,” the airlines said of the incident. “We're also grateful to our teams on the ground who were waiting with a tug to move the aircraft soon after it landed and to our teams in the airport who assisted customers upon their arrival,” the statement from United Airlines added.

Prince Harry, who has been seeking US citizenship since stepping down from his royal duties in 2020 and relocating to California, faced scrutiny after his memoir made a bombshell disclosure about past drug use. The Heritage Foundation sued the DHS, alleging that the administration showed favoritism to the Duke of Sussex by granting him "preferential treatment" in allowing entry to the U.S.

DHS ordered to hand over Prince Harry's Immigration documents by March 21

D.C. District Court Judge Carl Nichols has requested DHS to provide their response and documents by March 21. It has made a request to detail, “the records it is withholding and the particular harm that would arise from public disclosure of them”.
For days now, DHS has been working diligently to block the release of the documents following the Duke's admission of using cannabis, cocaine, and magic mushrooms in his memoir- an apparent breach of US visa regulations. However court in its order said, “Agency affidavits are insufficiently detailed to permit meaningful review of exemption claims… when the number of withheld documents is relatively small, and when the dispute turns on the contents of the withheld documents, and not the parties’ interpretations of those documents.”

The FSB disclosed that the ISIS-Khorasan cell operating in Russia's Kaluga region had been planning an attack on a synagogue using firearms. The militants were confronted by Russian special forces, and after resisting, they were neutralized by return fire. During the operation, firearms, ammunition, and components for an improvised explosive device were discovered and seized.

Biden issued a sharp directive to Israel's leaders, telling them not to hold up humanitarian aid to Palestinians for political purposes.
"To the leadership of Israel I say this: Humanitarian assistance cannot be a secondary consideration or a bargaining chip," Biden said. "Protecting and saving innocent lives has to be a priority. As we look to the future, the only real solution to this situation is a two-state solution."
Biden has faced increasing pressure from fellow Democrats over his support for Israel's response to the Oct. 7 attacks by Palestinian Hamas militants.
"I’ve been working non-stop to establish an immediate ceasefire that would last for six weeks," he said, reiterating U.S. policy but using the word "ceasefire" that his administration once shied away from.

They said the temporary pier will provide capacity equivalent to hundreds of truckloads of additional assistance each day. US officials plan for control of the port to transition to a commercially operated facility over time.

Biden’s bid is only the latest effort by the US to address the dire conditions for the 2 million Gazans following Israel’s military campaign to root out Hamas, which is labeled a terrorist group by the US and European Union.
