Dear Marginly community,
Now that our testnet contests have concluded, we want to share some details on the upcoming airdrop and token claiming process.
We would like to take a moment to thank everyone who participated in the testnet contests: traders arrived in their thousands, almost 13k making over 40k trades. Such active participation helped us refine the product and prepare for the mainnet launch.

Airdrop Claim Page

We have decided to handle token distribution via a dedicated airdrop claim page. Here is what the user flow is going to look like:

• Connect wallet — make sure to use the same wallet that participated in the testnet contests
• Check allocation — see whether a wallet is eligible for rewards
• Claim tokens — sign the message to confirm the transaction in your wallet

An airdrop clawback is in place: unclaimed tokens will be returned to the treasury if not claimed within 2 months after TGE.
We plan to have the airdrop claim page live as soon as tokenomics are finalized so that users can check their allocations. The airdrop will be claimable upon TGE, which is scheduled for Q2 2024. As explained earlier, we will be launching without a native token initially. This is done to gauge the initial interest in the project and figure out the best way to bring meaningful utility to the native token via a carefully designed system that aligns the interests of all actors involved. The amount of tokens available to each user will be based on the first price print with a 10% discount.
That’s it: no additional lockup periods or complicated vesting schedules and an additional 10% discount for all those testnet early adopters who helped us make Marginly a reality.
