My Passive Crypto Life: Tiny Earnings from Tools I Barely Touch
I’ve been into crypto long enough to remember when faucets gave out whole bitcoins — and when it was just about curiosity, not clout. These days, my crypto life is less about trading and more about experimenting with low-key ways to earn passively, with as little friction as possible.
I don’t run a mining rig or trade on 12 monitors. I just set up systems that quietly hum in the background — and occasionally send me a little something. Some earn pennies, others a bit more. None of them are glamorous, and maybe that’s why they work.
Here are five of the more unusual, low-effort tech habits I’ve picked up to earn small amounts of crypto (and fiat) without pretending to be an influencer or market genius.
1. My Old Phone Is a Passive-Earning Mule
I repurposed an old Android phone that was gathering dust in a drawer. Now it runs a few bandwidth-sharing and passive task apps. Nothing invasive, just quiet background work.
