Blockchain Game Review: Mines of Dalarnia
Mines of Dalarnia is one of the few P2E crypto games I can 100% call a video game. Ive only been playing it a couple of weeks and it has brought me many hours of awesome gameplay already. It is a 2D blockstyle world that you want to keep exploring. The main goal of this game is to explore mines for resources & find an exit before you run out of oxygen. The exit teleports in different places throughout the mine. The levels are broken down into mining plots. At launch there was 5200 land plots across four planets with different resources to mine for. Finding these resources is essential to upgrade your miner & all of his equipment. Further on the game you will be able to trade them.
The first planet has some pretty basic resources and creates a free to play model. All of these plots are public. The other three planets consist of private plots. For a miner to move over the planet he has to use move energy. Move energy is restored once every day and can also be restored mining plots. There are four different types of mining plots; Rock, Terra, Jungle & Crypt. For Jungle & Crypt you need special equipment to mine. If a miner wants to dig a new plot (level) they must pay the owner some DAR (mines of dalarnia tokens) Miners will always find more unique & valuable resources in private plots. The goals of this game is pretty simple, collect resources to upgrade your miner & his equipment. Buy new plots in different worlds to gain valuable resources. Explore all of the world's.
Some plots of land in mines of dalarnia can be purchased or they can be rented for a limited amount of runs. What makes this game so unique apart from it genuinely being a fun game is that it allows players to own plots (levels) in the game & they can either trade their plots or rent them. This is a unique form of digital ownership with utility. Assuming this game grows in popularity among crypto consumers I would say it's not only a solid game, but a potentially good way to earn some free crypto.
