Cheer up, there’ll be more opportunities

Today, I won't bore you with how long it has taken me to write another piece. But I’d say life isn't always predictable. And I don't even mean that in a bad way.

Thinking about how the past few weeks have been for me, I can confidently say that expectations have a way of humbling humans. Whether they are ours, or someone else’s about us. It’s okay to set lofty goals and aim for everything achievable. But I tell you, even the slightest expectations could be jeopardized. Remember those things that make you want to ask, “How hard can it be?” Well anon, it can be as hard as you can imagine. I hope this piece isn’t coming off negative. Of course, that’s not the point of writing this.

My point is, I had set the path for my week in my head. With a focus on how my week should go. But even that, I couldn’t control. I fell sick, and couldn’t do everything I wanted to do. The good thing is, I’m still kicking and I’ll be back in action soon. And I can do everything I couldn't do.

So if you’ve got something you thought you’d be doing right now but isn’t working, there’s no need to beat yourself up over it. Cheer up, there’ll be more opportunities. You don’t always control everything. That said, I’ll see you when I publish my next piece!

S/O to my friend Ibrahim, you’re one strong buddy and I’m sure there’s plenty of good in store for you. Do your thing, bruh, I support you!

Music Pick: Omah Lay released Boy Alone (Deluxe). And boy that album has got good replay value.
Movie Pick: Chris Hemsworth can have all my money. Extraction 2 is a vibe.
