Hello, Chomers! Happy holidays and here’s to wishing you a wonderful new year ahead. As we gear up for the 2024 new year , let’s embark together on Chromatic’s Journey, set to take off in full swing.
Before the new year comes, we would like to look back on the short yet significant Chromatic’s Journey in 2023, starting from the November testnet launch, and outline the plans for 2024 through this article.

Retrospections of 2023

A lot has happened in the past few weeks. We marked the birth of the Chromatic Protocol on November 16, 2023, launching the protocol on the Arbitrum testnet.
With the launch of our Discord and Twitter channels, enthusiasts and early supporters of Chromatic Protocol have come together to form a vibrant community right from the outset.
Season 1 of the airdrop program kicked off, inviting our community to complete quests through Zealy, earn Credits that will later grant access to the random boxes which have airdrop tokens in it.
As of 28th Dec 2023, during the first month following the testnet launch, we saw achievements of 8,325,097.75 cETH and 324,318.34 cBTC in trading volume, with fees amounting to 185,440.35 cETH and 2,366.09 cBTC. Also there were 55,273 transactions occurred, and a total of 805 accounts were created. We extend our deepest gratitude to the early community supporting the early journey of Chromatic Protocol.

Roadmap Ahead

Over the next few months, the Chromatic team will focus on successfully launching the mainnet and expanding the ecosystem of the Chromatic Protocol. Here’s a brief overview of our upcoming plans.

2023 December

(✅ Completed) 27 Dec: The Chromatic Protocol’s testnet app is migrated to the Arbitrum Sepolia network.

(✅Completed) 27 Dec: Referral Program Special Tier early bird registration open. (Registration period: Until 24th Jan)

2024 January

▶ 24 Jan: Deadline to apply for the Special Tier of Referral Program.

2024 February

▶ 1 Feb: Chromatic Protocol launch on the Arbitrum Mainnet!
▶ 1 Feb: Trade Reward Program launch
▶ 1 Feb: Referral Program Launch
▶ 8 Feb: LP Reward Program launch
▶ Mid-Feb: Audit completion. Currently, Chromatic Protocol is undergoing an audit with Halborn to ensure more secure trading environments.

2024 H1

▶ $CHRMA token launch and DEX listing

• In the first half of 2024, $CHRMA Token is scheduled to be launched, with its listing on the Decentralized Exchange (DEX). This milestone marks a significant step in our journey toward establishing a Chromatic Protocol’s DAO ecosystem.

Reward Programs

Chromatic Protocol introduces three official reward programs alongside its Arbitrum mainnet launch. Engage actively in trading, invite fellow traders, provide liquidity to the pools, and earn rewards for your contributions to the protocol!

🔵 A. Trade Reward Program(Trade & Earn)

Trade Reward Program is the most essential part of the Chromatic Protocol, to foster a vibrant and active trading environment. It rewards participants for their engagements, establishing a positive feedback loop that is expected to increase trading volumes on the Chromatic Protocol.
Traders will receive airdrop points as a reward for actively trading on the Chromatic Protocol. These points can then be converted into $CHRMA tokens after the token launch (TGE) on a DEX, at a 1:1 ratio. This means for every airdrop point earned, traders will be eligible to receive an equivalent amount of $CHRMA tokens.
Trade Reward Program Season 1 Schedule
Trade Reward Program Season 1 will be ongoing until 31 March 2024. (The schedule may be changed with prior notice)
Trade Reward Program Season 1 is on a daily basis. Rewards aggregation and settlement are conducted every day at UTC 00:00.
Token Allocation
The allocated rewards for Season 1 per month are as follows, totaling 2,800,000 CHRMA tokens, which constitutes 2.8% of the total token supply:

• February: 1,500,000 CHRMA (1.5% of the total token supply)
• March: 1,300,000 CHRMA (1.3% of the total token supply)

Please note that the monthly token allocation for the Trade Reward Program will be finalized before the launch of Chromatic Protocol on the mainnet on February 1st, 2024. The above figures are subject to change until that time.

🟢 B. Referral Program

In addition to the Trade Reward Program which awards traders for trading, The Chromatic Protocol introduces a Referral Program aimed at activating the protocol and expanding the ecosystem by acquiring key participants, the traders. This program is to encourage traders to actively trade and to invite other traders on our protocol, offering extra rewards to referrers and referrals. Participating in the referral program, both referrers and referrals will get additional rewards.

• Referrer’s rebate based on his/her referrals’ trading rewards: Referrer receives a rebate proportional to the trading rewards accrued by the referrals they have gathered.
• Referrals’ reward boosting based on referrer’s tier: Referrals receive reward boosts based on the tier of their referrer.

Referrer Tier System
There are two different tiers in the Referral Program. Normal Tier and Special Tier.

• The Special Tier allows participants to earn higher rewards, with potential earnings of up to 13% for themselves and up to 15% for their referrals.
• Access to the Special Tier is limited to a whitelisted few. However, to celebrate our mainnet launch and to reward early supporters, we’re offering Special Tier to early bird participants.
• Early bird participators can get the Special Tier by submitting the application form.
• Early Bird application period: from 27th Dec to 24th Jan

Registered Referrer Unchangeable:
Once a referral chooses a referrer, changing the designated referrer is not possible. This policy is intended to concentrate efforts on attracting new referrals rather than competing for already secured ones.

🔴 C. LP Reward Program

LP Reward Program is a strategic initiative designed to foster active participation from Liquidity Providers (LPs), one of the most important players of the protocol right from its launch. Liquidity providers will get airdrop points in proportion to the liquidity they provided. These points can then be converted into $CHRMA tokens after the token launch (TGE) on a DEX, at a 1:1 ratio.
Unlike the Trade Reward Program, the LP Reward Program operates temporarily and on an ad-hoc basis, during liquidity shortages rather than continually, ensuring a balanced liquidity scale.
The LP Reward Program is designed to last for over six years after the protocol launch, allocating 8,000,000 CHRMA (8% of the total token supply). The program is front-loaded with more rewards in the early stages to stimulate protocol activation, with a gradual tapering of reward allocation over time.
LP Rewards Program Season 1
LP Reward Program Season 1 runs until March 31, 2024. (Note: The schedule is subject to change with prior notice).
The allocation for LP rewards in Season 1 is 1,000,000 CHRMA, which corresponds to 1.0% of the total token supply. If the LP Reward Program experiences low participation and the allocated amount is not fully utilized, the remaining rewards will be rolled over to the next season.
There are two steps in the LP Reward Program.
Warmup Period

• Warmup Period is a phase to put liquidity into pool.

Boosting Period

• During the Boosting Period, the liquidity gathered during the Warmup Period is deposited into the actual LP pool.
• The liquidity remains locked during the Boosting Period and can be withdrawn anytime upon its conclusion.
