The Embassy of our country in Belarus and the military attaché are working on placing the information about the Azerbaijani fighters who participated in the battles for the defense of Brest in the Second World War in the "Brest Castle" museum. As a result of the events, information and photos about another Azerbaijani fighter, Iskandarov Nasir Mamed oglu, were included in the museum's expositions.

In the letter addressed to the Embassy by the scientific-methodical council of the museum, it was stated that a decision was made based on the relevant protocol of the council.

It should be noted that despite the participation of many Azerbaijanis in the defense of the Brest fortress, the only compatriot whose name is written on the memorial plaques of the fortress and whose picture is placed in the museum is Hagverdiyev Khalil Hamza oglu. Currently, investigations are being continued about other Azerbaijanis who fought in Brest.
