Music & Dance
Music is integral to Ugandan life—used in ceremonies, rituals, and celebrations. Traditional instruments like the adungu, engalabi, and endongo create rhythms that accompany energetic dances like Bakisimba, Runyege, and Amagunju.
Oral Traditions & Storytelling
Before the written word, Ugandan history was preserved by oral traditions. Elders passed down folk tales, proverbs, and songs that taught morals, history, and identity. Griots and storytellers are best in keeping culture.
